Home / What Growatt Monitor reads
The inverter’s registers, turned into clear values and daily totals.

Read from the RS485 port, refreshed every few seconds, explained in plain words.
See at a glance whether the panels give what they should, and spot a shaded or dirty string.
Know whether the battery is filling or emptying right now, and how fast.
Catch a grid cut the minute it happens, even when you are away.
Find what your home really draws, day and night.
Grid, solar or battery mode: you know which source powers the house.
No more looking up a cryptic code in a PDF manual.
The exact list depends on your model and its firmware. Tell us your model when you order: your box is prepared and tested for it.
Pick a moment of the day: this is what Growatt Monitor shows you, live, about your Growatt system. Values simulated.
The dashboard turns the raw values into the things you actually want to know.
The share of your consumption covered by the sun and the battery, day by day.
What the panels produced each day, next to what the house used and what came from the grid.
At the current pace, when the battery will be full, or empty.
Solar, house, battery and grid in kWh, so a week of data tells you if the system is well sized.
Growatt Monitor tells Home Assistant how much the panels produce, in real time. Four simple rules, and the washing machine, the water heater and the car use your sun instead of the grid. Watch a day:
Your solar production
Your consumption

Logbook
Simulation of a sunny day for a house with 5 kWp of panels, a 10 kWh battery, a car that needs 10 kWh and a water heater. The energy delivered to each appliance is the same in both scenarios; only the timing changes. Your figures depend on your system, your tariff and the weather.

They come from the inverter’s own counters, so they match the figures on the inverter display.
The SPH and MIN TL-XH ranges are single-phase; SPH TL3 and MOD TL3-XH are three-phase. Their register maps differ slightly, and Growatt uses an older and a newer version of its protocol depending on the generation.
