What you see online
The online dashboard shows the readings of Growatt Monitor on the inverter’s RS485 link: total PV power and each string, battery state of charge, power and temperature, grid power with import and export, house load, the priority mode and the day’s energy totals. It refreshes about every two minutes, without port forwarding or VPN.
Single-phase and three-phase models show the same overview; three-phase systems keep their per-phase readings on the local dashboard.
How to switch it on
- Open
http://moniwatt.local, then Settings > Access key & Cloud. - Tick it, save, and copy the access key.
- Sign in to the Cloud dashboard of this site with your e-mail and paste the key.
Readings appear within two minutes. Your inverter settings and your Shine stick are left alone.
Import, export and history
With up to three years of history, the Cloud shows how much you produce, how much you send to the grid and how much you buy back, day by day. That is what you need to judge a time-of-use tariff, a second battery module or a heat pump. Export any period as CSV.
One e-mail if the box goes quiet
After six hours without readings, you get one e-mail. A router, a tripped breaker or a new Wi-Fi password is usually the cause. One message, until it comes back.
Installer access
Your installer can sign in with their own e-mail and add your system with the access key you give them, without your password. You can change the key whenever you like.
Optional and free
The Cloud is off by default and has no subscription. Readings travel encrypted to a private link that only your key opens. Untick the option and the box stops sending at once; stored readings are deleted on request. Locally, the box works without it.
